Today we drove to Kitwanga for the night. Just a traveling day as will be tomorrow. We will have 3 traveling days and end up in Prince George for 3-4 days to stock up again. We need to stock up when the opportunity presents itself.

Alaska in on fire. 231 forest fires the last time I checked. Around Anchorage roads are closed, homes and businesses have burnt down and, at Mat-Su(near Wasilla), a popular campground was evacuated almost too late.
The Kenai fire which caused us problems has been fanned by very high winds and is back on its destructive path. The Kenai fire jumped the only major road, something the firefighters did not want to happen. The actual road was closed for 2 days.
There was snow in NE British Columbia, 8" in Fort Nelson. Winter is coming.
Today we drove to Valemount, BC and had some of the best roads of our trip so far. Hope it keeps up. Only 3 construction stops all brief. Our stop tonight was another Provincial Park, as usual fairly empty.
