Today we left Haines but had a wonderful drive, again very scenic. We pulled into our campground for the night, made a loop, found a spot and 20 minutes later the sky opened up with a torrential downpour. Not in any forecast.
We are surprised at the number of swans we see in Alaska. Almost every pond has a pair nesting. Something we never expected. A pleasant surprise.
