I had read about a great drive about 30 miles from the entrance to Denali. Weather wasn’t great but 30 miles away could be totally different weather.
The road is the old road to Denali. The Parks Road, which is in use now, was built around 1972. The old road is dirt. I would like to go on this road in good weather. The road is 180 miles long and we drove about 20 miles of it and turned around. Not a good day. Not even animals.
